PRIVATE HOLIDAY HOUSE FOR RENT

DENIA AND JAVEA - COSTA BLANCA

IF you do not know Javea and Denia area you will be surprised how green it is compared with the trip up from Alicante which is parched and arid in comparison. The surrounding mountains give the area very little rainfall, hardly any falls in summer and there are 320 days a year with sunshine. The lack of high rise development and the nearby beautiful cliffs and coves has made it an especially popular area for people from all over Spain and rest of Europe.

JAVEA is located between the capes of San Antonio and Nao, and is one of the most important tourist destinations on the Costa Blanca. The historic quarter, located two kilometers from the coastline, preserves a beautiful  architecture. One of the main attractions of this region is the coastline. No less then twenty km of sands and hidden coves where visitors can enjoy a swim and a wide variety of activities.

DENIA has a twenty kilometre-long coastline, whit present fine sands in the nothern part, yet steep and rocky sections to the south. The municipality has countless one-storey houses scattered around, with white facades, red-tiled roofs and the typical porches from this region, called riu-rau. The old town of Denia, overlooked by the remains of the fortress castle, is full of bars, restaurants and tapas bars, perfect for an evening stroll. Denia lies at the foothills of the Montgo Mountains and this provides spectacular views over the bay of Denia and Javea on the other side.
